Earn credits by watching
Start the Viewtrader player. It plays other members' videos on YouTube in a second tab, and every 30 seconds watched earns credits.
Watch other creators' videos to earn credits, then spend them on views of your own videos that last up to 10 minutes each. Every minute is checked, and the calculator shows how far it gets you towards 4,000 hours.
YouTube counts the public watch hours of the last 12 months. 4,000 hours is 240,000 minutes: 24,000 views of 10 minutes, or about 11 hours of watch time every day for a year.
Fill in where your channel stands. You find your watch hours, views and average view duration in YouTube Studio → Analytics, over the last 365 days.
An estimate: it spends every credit on views, includes the monthly credits of a plan but not the daily bonuses, and assumes your current hours were spread evenly over the past year. YouTube decides which watch time counts.

Pick one of your videos and choose how long each view lasts, up to 10 minutes on paid plans. Longer views add more watch time per view.
Views are spread out over time. The extension checks that each one lasted the length you chose before the viewer gets paid.
A view of a few seconds adds almost nothing to your watch hours. On Viewtrader you pay for the minutes, so you choose how much watch time every view brings.
One view of 10 minutes adds as much watch time as twenty views of 30 seconds. Pick the length that fits your video.
An hour of watch time costs 180 credits on the Free plan, whatever view length you choose. Paid plans make every minute cheaper.
A view only counts when your video played for the length you chose. Time while an ad plays doesn't count.
Watch hours alone don't get you into the Partner Program: you also need 1,000 subscribers. Run a subscriber campaign next to your views.
One credit balance for views, likes, subscribers and comments. Earn it by helping other creators, or get it with a plan or credit pack.

For ads revenue: 1,000 subscribers and 4,000 public watch hours in the last 12 months, or 10 million public Shorts views in the last 90 days.
In many countries a first level with memberships and Super Thanks opens earlier, at 500 subscribers, 3 public uploads in 90 days and 3,000 watch hours (or 3 million Shorts views). YouTube can change these numbers, so check its help pages.
YouTube decides that, not us. It only counts public watch time it considers valid, and it reviews every channel by hand before accepting it into the Partner Program.
Members watch your video in a normal YouTube tab and the extension checks the time, but we can't promise that YouTube counts every minute. Use Viewtrader to get your videos seen; to be accepted, your channel also needs original videos people come back for.
No. Watch time on Shorts doesn't count towards the watch hours; Shorts have their own route to the Partner Program with Shorts views.
Per view yes, per minute no. A view costs credits for every 30 seconds watched, so an hour of watch time costs the same whatever length you choose: 180 credits on the Free plan, less on paid plans. Compare plans.
No. You verify your channel once in YouTube Studio with our extension. Viewtrader never gets access to your YouTube account.
